X Minutes: Food Blog Topics/Ideas

(10 minutes of writing anything and everything that pops into my head, as long as I keep writing.)

A is for Apple, recounting David's love for apple pie
B is for bacon or blueberries. Blueberry pie. I wonder if I could do an alphabet just of pies. David would totally love an alphabet of pies.
C is for cranberries, which go on almost everything in our house. I could make cranberry bread, or perhaps a cranberry compote.
D is for... I can't think of anything with d. What foods start with d, anyway? (ditalini and dal)
E is for egg or eggplant, neither of which he likes, but I eat with great enthusiasm. (empanada)
F is for freezer. A story about my freezer with its flexible sides. Also, flan, which I've never made. And frangollo.
G is for Grandma, except that we didn't eat her. What else starts with g? Goat, again no. Grated cheese. What a copout! I'll have to think about g, too. (green beans)
H is for hyenas. Also, ham.
Apparently an alphabet of foods would be challenging, especially once we get down to Q and X. I have no problem doing other cuisines, though.
P is definitely for pumpkin. I already have my story about that, and the best pumpkin pie I've ever had, plus the first pumpkin pie I ever made. I wonder if I still have pictures of that. I bet I do. Those pie crusts were so pathetic! Still are, really, but for the blog, I'd still make them myself instead of getting them out of the box.
P could be for peaches, too. Peach mango pie. Still with the pies! I can't believe I've become such a pie nut.
Q is going to require some research. (something with quinces. also, queso.)
R is for raspberries, or rhubarb. Rhubarb definitely has some stories attached to it. For that matter, so do currants. I could do two alphabets, but only with certain letters. (ravioli)
S is for salmon or sardines or other things we don't eat a lot of. Spices! Spinach, spanikopita. Samosas, too.
T is for temptation and tornadoes and tomatoes, too. Summer sound: tomatoes in the canning equipment.
U is for undeniable, and unbelievable, and probably some sort of food I can't think of right now.
L is for lamb. Very much doing something with lamb.
M is for marachino cherries. I could do cherries with C, too, and something else with M. I've never made a cherry pie before, and plan to do that soon. That still leaves us with M. Marmalade and mayonaise and mustard and milk. Mangoes, too.
N is for needles and Nancy and Nova Scotia. Not any foods, though, apparently. I shall have to consult with wikipedia or something. (naan)
O is for oatmeal bread. Also, olives.
I is for igloo and ice cream. I haven't made ice cream recently.
J is for jelly and jello and juggling.
K is for kabocha, if I can find it. Also, kofta.
V is for vermicelli. (vada, vindaloo)
W is for watercress, but I doubt I'll actually use that. Watermelon. I do have a recipe for watermelon soup, I think.
(X is for Xato)
Y is for yakitori.
Z is for ziti. Leave it to pasta to help out with a few things. Also, zucchini.

(Note: I didn't get all of these in my 10 minutes, and I still had a little trouble writing continuously, but that's probably in part due to the choice of subject. I kept having to pause and think.)
